Journey Carter is an emerging 18-year-old entrepreneur, designer, philanthropist and actress. Her socially conscious streetwear brand, The Journey Collection, features hoodies, t-shirts and hats all uniquely designed by Journey. Her line aims to empower each wearer to embrace their uniqueness and celebrate being different. She opened her first pop-up store, “Different,” in Los Angeles’s legendary Beverly Center in 2021. The store features her three collections (Different, Stay True to Yourself and We Are Not The Same), and has attracted attention from celebrities such as Tamar Braxton, Romeo Miller, Serayah, and Yolanda Adams. Journey first launched The Journey Collection at just 12 years old with her one-of-a-kind, handmade hair accessories. The young go-getter’s passion for philanthropy inspired her to donate a portion of her hair accessories’ proceeds to providing bows to youth battling cancer. Alongside owning and operating her successful business, Journey is also an accomplished actress. Currently, she features as a recurring regular on the new hit BET\/Viacom series “Kingdom Business” and has previously held roles in Netflix’s “Colin in Black \u0026amp; White”, “Family Reunion” and in the CBS drama “All Rise.” Journey’s eye for design transcends her thriving career and into her academics. She attends the HBCU Prairie View A\u0026amp;M University where she is working towards her degree in architecture with concentrations in construction science, real estate development and interior\/fashion design.
